Death Notice

Passed away in Petrolia, Ontario on March 4, 2010 at the age of 84. Predeceased and beloved wife for 61 years of Henry (Hank) and mother of Linda Dawson (husband Rob), Rick (wife Patrice) and Ken. Loving grandmother to Andy, Rory, Christopher, Kathryn, Elisabeth and Shauna. She leaves behind her sisters Lillian Carty, Theresa Devino, Marie Chicoine and Edith Walker and her brother Harry J.(Jud) Payea and numerous nephews and nieces.
Marion was born on July 6, 1925 in Burlington, Vermont. The Payea family moved to Essex Junction a few years later where she attended school and graduated from Essex Junction High School in 1942. She moved to Montreal in 1948, where she and Hank married and raised their family. In 1988, she moved to Sarnia to be nearer to family. She loved to call and visit Vermont with family and enjoyed trips to sunny beaches and the majestic Rocky Mountains.
Memorial services are private.
