Death Notice

Suddenly at Bluewater Health-Mitton Site Sarnia, on Tuesday March 9th, 2010, HAROLD GEORGE EBERT, age 72 of Sarnia.
Harold was a member of Laurel-Lea St. Matthews Church where he served as an elder for 25 years, he was a clerk of session and a member of the choir. Harold worked at Nova Chemical in Sarnia for 24 years.
Beloved husband of Maartje (Martha) Ebert.
Loving father of Patricia Ebert (John), Katherine (Tero) Kontio.
Cherished grandfather to Regan and Jaimie.
Brother of Shirley (John) Burger, Don (Sue) Ebert, Bob (Nicole) Ebert, and many nieces and nephews, brothers in-law and sisters in-law.
Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME (1576 London Line, Sarnia) on Thursday March 11th , 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at LAUREL-LEA ST-MATTHEWS CHURCH (837 Exmouth St., Sarnia) on Friday March 12th, 2010 at 11:00 am.
A special gathering will be held at LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME (724 Camboro Rd, Fenwick ON) on Saturday March 13th, 2010 from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Interment to follow Hillside Cemetery, Ridgeville at 1:00 pm.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Lung Association, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
