At Bluewater Health Palliative Care, Sarnia, on Thursday, March 11, 2010, John Perry Pearce, age 68 of Sarnia.
Beloved husband of Ann (Gallaway) Pearce. Loving father of John “Jay” (Lynn), Heather and Janice. Cherished grandfather of John, Ashley, George and adopted granddaughters Olivia and Lily. Devoted son of Hazel and the late John “Jack” Pearce (2002). Loved brother of Jim. Remembered by brother-in-law David (Sharon) Gallaway and their children Paul and Lori; and Mark and Mildred Gorth and family.
John taught at Northern Collegiate for 30 years and enjoyed coaching cross country, the breakfast club, his many hobbies involving tools and family camping.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line Sarnia, ON Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 6-9 p.m.
A service for the celebration of John’s life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 332 Devine Street, Sarnia, ON Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
