This would include the coordinating and directing the services of our staff and agents with those of the hospital, nursing home, cemetery or crematorium in picking up the remains from the place of death and making the necessary arrangements for final disposition. It also includes the services of our support staff in preparing contracts, correspondence and invoices and in placing notices, booking staff, vehicles and other support functions.

These costs represents, but is not limited to, staffing for funeral and/or visitation periods, staffing required for transferring of remains to funeral home, staffing required for preparation and embalming of remains, and staffing necessary for receiving, arranging and delivery of floral tributes.

Staff for Funeral Service Day

Funeral Day (casket present) or Memorial Service (no casket present or Graveside Service (casket present) Funeral Costs: This service includes but is not limited to, preparations for funeral service or memorial service or graveside service, staff to direct and assist with the funeral service or memorial service or graveside service and includes a period of time up to four hours in length. This service would include receiving, arranging and local delivery of flowers, coordinating donations, etc.

This service includes but is not limited to, preparations for a graveside service, staff to direct and assist with the graveside service and includes a period of time up to four hours in length.

Initial Period of Visiting

(Approx: 2 1/2 Hours) This service includes but is not limited to, preparing for visitation, staffing during visitation, receiving and arranging floral tributes, coordinating donations and other duties associated with rites and services during visitation.

Embalming

Embalming is not a requirement of the law. Some funeral arrangements selected, such as a funeral with viewing, or the holding of a body for a period of time in excess of hours between death and final disposition, requires embalming by the funeral home policy.

Other Body Preparation

These services may include, when necessary, cosmetology, hair dressing, placing the body in the casket or container, special care of autopsied remains, sanitation and exterior disinfection of the body when no embalming is authorized.

Transfer Staff

When there is no procession to cemetery or crematorium and or no pallbearers to assist. Extra staffing for transfer and assistance.

Director for Burial of Ashes

Funeral director to arrange and attend to burial of ashes or storage at funeral home of remains.

Sound Equipment

This service includes a prelude, postlude and music during the funeral service or visitation.

Organist

Our organist will play prelude, postlude and music during the funeral service and our organist will accompany any person or persons singing at the funeral. (traditional hymns).

This charge represents the use of our facilities including parking areas open to the public within our funeral home, our arrangement office, casket display room and other facilities and equipment required to operate as a licensed funeral home. This would also include use of the funeral home for funeral and/or visitation periods and the use of all necessary equipment for these services.

Initial 2.5 Hour Period of Visitation

This includes the use of our facility for reception of friends and relatives and may include any or all of the following: register desk, casket bier, flowers and donation stands, sound system and religious equipment.

Added Visiting Hours (2 Hours)

This is a per diem charge for the use of our facility for the reception of friends and relatives for each subsequent hours of use after the first period of visiting. Included in this are the items previously listed in the 2 1/2 hour period of visiting.

Preparation Room

Includes use of all necessary equipment for professional or sanitary care of the remains together with a room for this purpose.

Custodial Care

May be charged after the remains have been sheltered for a period of 24 hours. This is a diem charge.

Documentation

This charge is for obtaining the necessary information to complete the documentation legally required in connection with the disposition of the remains, arranging for the filing of the documentation and registration of the death, and providing unlimited copies of our Funeral Directors Statements of Death Certificates. for this purpose.

Stationary

Our standard register book for guests, printed memorial folders and/or prayer cards and up to 100 Standard acknowledgement cards, minister's thank-you cards, pallbearer cards.

Photo Tribute presentation to be played during visitation and/or services (includes 25 family photos, 2 songs, 1 DVD) (additions have minimal fee).

Select Motor Vehicles »

The prices shown are for the use of the vehicles on a single occasion, such as use of the funeral coach from the funeral home to the church and then to the cemetery where the trip does not exceed 25 kilometers from our funeral home. An additional charge (1.70/km) may be made for the use of all vehicles for each kilometer beyond this area.

Funeral Coach

The use of this vehicle includes the transportation of the deceased from our facility to the place of the Funeral rite and to the place of final disposition. This vehicle will also be used for the safe delivery of remains to crematoriums, other funeral homes, airports, etc.

Clergy/Lead Vehicle

The use of this vehicle may include any or all of the following uses: transportation of clergy to funeral home or place of funeral rite, transportation of clergy to place of final disposition, leading of funeral procession.

Service Vehicle

This vehicle is used by our staff for delivery of floral tributes to cemetery, church or other locations instructed.

Utility Vehicle

This vehicle is used by our staff in making arrangements, picking up and filing documentation necessary for our services and any other trips that are necessary in conjunction with the services being performed by us. The charge for this vehicle is a flat fee for all funeral services performed by us.
